Adam Rockwell (アダム＝ロックウェル Adamu Rokkuweru?), better known as Leader Century (リーダー・センチュリー Rīdā Senchurī?),[2] is a Marine Colonel[1] within the United States Marine Corps, and United States' Hero.[2]

Appearance

Adam is a tall and muscular man with short black hair and brown eyes. As Century, he wears a white and red mask which covers his head with triangular-shaped spaces for his sharp eyes, with two curved white horns and a symbol in his forehead and chest.

Personality

Adam has a serious demeanor and forceful personality. As someone who takes both his jobs as a Marine and as a Hero very seriously, he expects his colleagues to do the same, and is not exempt from scolding them for their bad attitudes. He curiously seems to worry over their overall well-being, too, as he stopped both Davie Wonder John and Pepesha Andreanova from smoking and drinking, respectively.[3] Despite his seemingly unapproachable personality, he obviously cares a lot about his colleagues, as he makes Shy promise him to come back alive from the infiltration mission into Utsuro Karakururi's void dome.[4]

Equipment

Heart-Shift Bracelets (転 (てん) 心 (しん) 輪 (りん) Tenshinrin?): As any Hero, Adam has possession of a pair of bracelets which synchronizes his Heart spirit into power. He can transform into his Hero form, Leader Century, through them and they also allow him to hear other languages as his own language and also communicate with people from other countries. Century can also communicate with other Heroes through them.

  • Gravity (重 (じゅう) 力 (りょく) を操 (あやつ) る Jūryoku wo ayatsuru?, lit. "manipulating gravity"): Century is proficient in manipulating gravity, not only from his surroudings, but his own gravity as well. Through this, he is not only able to pull things or make them float, but supposedly to fly as well.[5]
    • Atomic Cosmo (アトミック・コスモ Atomikku Kosumo?): Century creates a powerful black hole-like gravity center. It was first used in an attempt to contain the fear from spreading outside Tokyo's dome.[6]
