"The Mission of Heroes" (ヒーローの
Summary[]

Iko and Teru greet each other.
Spirit takes Shy to the Heroes Hideout. Supervisor for the heroes Unilord introduces herself to Shy and explains to her the true mission of heroes: to shine light in people's hearts. Teru still thinks about what she meant at school, as Iko Koishikawa is introduced to her class as a transfer student from Karen Private Middle School. Coincidentally, she sits by Teru's side and they greet each other.
After classes, Teru overhears two classmates talking to Iko. They ask her why she transferred schools, to which she replies that is because it's easier for her due to her injured leg. She is then called to the teachers' office, leaving Teru alone with her sense of guilt. Some time later, however, Teru decides to leave for a bit, only to find Iko struggling with pain by the stairs. Without thinking, she helps the other stand up and takes her to the nurse's office.

A mysterious boy puts a ring on Iko's finger.
The nurse advises Iko to take some painkillers and rest for a bit before leaving the two alone. Iko apologizes to Teru for the trouble and compares her to Shy, as she arrived just in time just like the hero. Teru takes the opportunity to ask her if she isn't angry with her, but as her response takes her by surprise, she leaves to wash her crying face. Left behind, Iko struggles again with pain. However, a mysterious boy appears and puts a dark-lookin ring on her finger.
By the time Teru returns to the nurse's office, Iko has transformed into a monster version of herself.
