"Frozen Heart" (
Summary[]
Letana Andreanova struggled to find decent jobs and if it was cold, she stated that it didn't matter as long as she had her daughter with her. As she was fired from another job and was thinking about getting a new one soon, she arrived at home only to find Pepesha sleeping on the table. She would have woken her up, but then saw the drawing she made of them both, smiling, and wondered when was the last time she smiled like that. She promised Pepesha that she would make her dreams come true one day.
Letana falls to her death.
Worried about the money she currently had, her rent owner came to complain about the delay on payment. Letana apologized, but the rent owner told her she would ask her to leave if she didn't pay up in time. Later, Letana asks Pepesha as to why she wasn't eating, and as she refused to, she lost her temper and yelled at her for being picky, making her daughter cry. Pepesha says that she was only worried for her mother as she never saw her eating anything, which makes Letana think that she didn't deserve to be her mother.
In a snowy night, Letana passed by a bakery and decided to buy a cake for her daughter. She entered the shop and changed her mind, asking for some cookies instead, but the owner gave her her best cake, telling her she could only pay what she had and come back to tell her if they enjoyed it. Letana thanked her and left, thinking about apologizing, as well as telling Pepesha how much she loved her, however, a robber pushed her against the bridge and she fell to her death. As she died, she just wished her daughter and other children would never know about the cruelty of the world.
Back to present, Tzveta freezes Spirit in place while saying she only wants to protect her and the other children from the world all along. As she keeps telling her her thoughts, Spirit's transformation vanishes, as her heart faltered after hearing all her motives for her doings. Tzveta tries to convice Pepesha into accepting the world she made for her, but Shy interrupts her.
