Summary
Teru Momijiyama reports to Unilord her findings provided by Ai Tennoji. They are afraid that the Amarariruku may strike next in Japan, and Unilord asks Teru to be vigilant, to which she agrees. In the next morning, Ai wakes Teru up and brings her to an isolated area so they can know each other better. Teru transforms into Shy, and Ai is very interested in her transformation.

She reveals that she can also transform and invites Shy and Iko Koishikawa to play rock skipping by the river, but the way she plays it is a bit too much for both of them. Ai then wonders about Tokimaru and finds him observing the area at a top of a tree, so they reminiscence about the time where they would play together, until Ai finally notices he is half-naked. He explains that he was washing his clothes by the river, and she asks why he didn't wash his scarf as well.
He replies that the scarf is very important to him and that he doesn't want to lose it, and Ai tries to provoke him by asking if that scarf was given to him by a girl he likes, and he bluntly says that it was Ai herself who gave it to him. She doesn't seem to remember it, however, but he brushes it off and questions her about the path that she has chosen to walk upon. However, Ai is determined to save her soul. At last, she asks him to accompany her.
Ai comes back to Shy and Iko to see if they learnt how to play the game, but they didn't. She explains that there is no trick for it, and guides them through the quest. Shy follows it as best as she can and is able to make the rock cross the river and hit the tree. Meanwhile, Tokimaru receives a message from a bird, thinking to himself that he would protect Ai even if it costs his life.
