“ | A leader's job is to trust in the people following them. If you've never done this before, then rely on someone that has. If you're weak, rely on someone stronger. Let them focus on what they're good at! Know your own limits and let your members compensate for what you lack! That's what being a leader is! That is what's required of you. [...] If I didn't think you could do it, I would have spoken up back there at the meeting. | ” |

"The Job of a Leader" (リーダーの
Summary
Someone reports the situation in Tokyo. There is no way to contact people inside the dome and everyone wonders what is happening.
In the Heroes' Hideout, many heroes are reunited to decide on what to do in this situation. In summary, no one was able to enter the dome and they don't know what the Amarariruku want, but Lady Black says they should prioritize saving the civilians. Leader Century and Stardust agree that they need to act with caution, but Shy wants to enter the dome and save as many people as possible.
Lady Black scolds her for that inconsequential thinking, but the Japanese Hero worries about the people inside the dome, since she has experience with it back in Russia. Stardust then suggests to Unilord that they split into two teams: the infiltration team and the standby team. Unilord finds it a good idea and nominates Century for the standby team and Shy for the infiltration team.
Shy seems unsure about that, but Unilord trusts her with this job because she is the hero representing Japan and has dealt with a similar situation before. Century chooses Stardust and Spirit for his team, and Shy leaves for a bit, insecure about being a leader. Lady Black approaches her and tells her that a leader's job is to trust those who are following them, and if she's weak, she should trust in someone stronger than her. Shy asks her if she thinks she can do it, and Lady Black, before leaving, says that, if she didn't, she would have objected before.
Mian Long is next to approach Shy, bringing her some lilac tea to calm both their nerves. He tells her that he trusts her because he has worked with her before, so he knows she's strong, and offers his help. Shy comes back to the meeting room and asks Century for a time limit for the infiltration team, telling him that the second team should come in should the first team dwell in their task. Century makes Shy promise him that she will come back alive, and Spirit is surprised by how much Shy has grown in just a month.
Shy is dying of nervousness, however, and as she begins thinking about who she will bring along, Ai Tennoji appears with Iko Koishikawa to offer her assistance.
