Summary
As Nihil changes its form from a katana to a greatsword, Utsuro Karakururi is quickly able to overpower Shy with its sheer brute strength. Its attacks are so powerful that even the rest of the Infiltration Team is able to see them fight. Shy initially dodges her attacks, but tries to defend herself against it so Utsuro wouldn't destroy the city. This act of protectiveness, however, only makes it easier for her opponent to attack her.
Purity reaches out to Shy to remind her of her true goal to save Utsuro, and to tell her that her bracelets are more than a simple tool for drawing her heart power. The hero deduces she must connect herself to Utsuro, and then holds her wrists to do so.
