"Shining Six" (シャイニング・シクス Shainingu Shikusu?) is the first chapter of Volume 11, and eighty-seventh overall of the SHY manga series.
Summary
After being saved, Teru Momijiyama is suddenly taken to karaoke, Nyerko Armstrong offers herself to sing first. As Rosalia Peacock provokes Seva Wang-Chai on his singing ability, but when he tries to prove otherwise, Nyerko shoves him off agressively. Omega Rodriguez encourages both Teru and Weibu Wang to sing, though the latter is more interested in fixing the song selection machine, which makes the poor Japanese hero think they are all weird.
The Shining Six.
Ananda Varma reveals to her that each one of them were actually outlaws that changed their ways because of Mei Momijiyama, her sister. It was also her who inspired them to become a group and follow on her footsteps. It so happens that Ananda had feelings for her, even though he was rejected on the spot. Seva brings attention to their real motive of being in Japan, that is, to limit Shy's activities due to the attention she brought to herself in the last events involving the Amarariruku.
Teru asks on how can she do her job if her Heart-Shift Bracelets are confiscated, and the Shining Six say they would help her out by using a Soul Shift, which would call one of them should she need their aid. Ananda says that he is doing this not only for the world, but to also keep a promise he made to Shine. He then takes the microphone to sing, however, he is terrible at it.
Later, Seva questions Ananda on why he lied to Teru about his promise to Shine, which was actually to not allow her to ever become a before. He replies, though, by saying he wouldn't stop her from being one if it was her choice, and that he would protect her in any way he can, since she was the one Shine loved the most.
