— Stardust to Shy in "Power for the Next Fight" |
Davie Wonder John (ディヴィー=
Appearance
Davie is a tall, remarkable man in his late twenties with fair complexion. He has spiky blond hair with his fringe swept to the right side of his head, just above one of his small, tired-looking blue eyes. He has cheek dimples and heavy eyebags which are revealed to be something he has since his childhood.[4] Davie is most seen with a keen expression, making him look even more heartless to others.
As Stardust, he wears a black bodysuit with a gold five-pointed star on his chest and a belt, his pants larger to the end and finish at his white boots, which also have a five-pointed yellow star in each one of his toe boxes. His Heart-Shift Bracelets have yellow, bright lines on his wrists. He is also usually with red sunglasses, a beige coat over his hero costume, and he also slicks back his hair, letting just a lock of it in front of his face.
Personality
Davie is well known among other heroes and even civilians as being someone apathetic and heartless. By the time he met Shy for the first time, he is pretty straightforward, as well as having no trouble talking about technically horrendous things like tearing someone's finger off. Stardust is also very suspicious and ends up judging people based on what little he sees of them based in their appearance and gestures. At first, he judged Shy to be an incapable hero due to her naive nature and gentle heart.
He seems not to be bothered by anything, not even by the open hatred that Spirit has for him, besides daring to provoke her several times when they are alone.[5] This fact is also proven as he is the only currently known hero whose civilian identity is public.[6] Although he says he doesn't care about the comments about his lack of feelings, it is clear that he cared and still cares about it, especially in his younger years when he ended up getting into fights when he was called "heartless."[7] When Shy claims that he too has a heart, Stardust is left stunned since only his friend dared to say it to him before.

Stardust shows his resolution to become the nicest guy in the world.
Stardust is a very capable hero, regardless of his personality and what people may say about him. Precisely because he does not easily get attached to others, he is able to take more drastic actions, sometimes seen as unethical, in favor of something greater. Still, Stardust has already shown many times that he is able to act kindly, as he praises Unilord's cuisine. Even if it may not seem so, he took his friend's advice on being the most gentle person on Earth seriously, as he is well known as a philanthropist.
He finds Shy's determination interesting and a curious trait about herself, and her attitudes most likely had a permanent impact on Stardust's mentality, as he finally considers, after their fight, that he may also be "naive".[8]
Abilities
Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Stardust has proved that he is a very capable fighter, an immense challenge to Shy who was a Hero for just about a few months at the time. He could hold his own against Shy and easily beat her without moving much.
Equipment
Heart-Shift Bracelets (
- Flow (
流 れ Nagare?, lit. dominating the surrouding flows): Through his bracelets, Stardust is able to control all types of flows around him. As such, he can redirect practically anything that is thrown at him. During his fight with Shy, he was able to redirect her physical attacks and, as such, she couldn't damage him; even after she discovered her flame ability, she could barely hit him.- Ashes to Stardust (アッシュズ・トゥ・スターダスト Asshuzu tō Sutādasuto?): Stardust attacks his opponent with powerful kicks, and his route forms a five-pointed star.[9] It was first used against Stigma and Quabala Quabala, and it was able to significantly injure the former.[10]

“ | A world where heroes play an active role, however, each hero has different feelings. That part is real in a sense, and the highlight will be how the main character, Teru Momijiyama, faces her own complexes and grows as she interacts with various people, I think. I feel that the way the people involved with her are portrayed in the story is also attractively depicted. I believe that the finished product will not disappoint the expectations of fans of the original work, so please support the animation SHY. | ” |
