Heart (心 (こころ) Kokoro^?) is the main source of power in SHY series.

Overview

The heart is a recurring term which refers to the pure essence that composes people. According to Tzveta Kooriskaya, the heart is primarily composed by the world, emotions and memories.

The power provided by the heart can vary depending on the personality and intentions of a person. While heroes and Amarariruku alike can manifest different sets of abilities in accordance to their deepest wishes and thoughts, Stigma is a special case given that he is able to directly spread pieces of his heart energy in the form of rings that can corrupt ordinary people into the darkest version of themselves while linking their hearts to his heart itself.

Shinobi have unique techniques in the knowledge and manipulation of heart energy, in which they are trained to feel the essence in every being, living or not. They are also remarkable for the existence of special heartblades like Purity and Nihil.

Heart-Shift Bracelets

Each hero possesses a pair of Heart-Shift Bracelets (転 (てん) 心 (しん) 輪 (りん) Tenshinrin^?). They are items supposedly created by Unilord that help them in their heroic activities. Heart-Shift Bracelets are able to convert heart energy into raw power to their user, allowing them to transform into their hero identities with different costumes akin to superheroes in comic books in accordance to their personal likes, and they also increase their overall physical capabilities, which includes strength, speed and durability.

The bracelets' most noted feature is that they are able to give their user unique abilities based on their personality and deepest wishes. Stardust's ability, Flow, allows him to make every and each type of flow avoid him, which reflects his most apathetic personality. Mian Long, who hates fighting and violence, is able to manifest claws that puts his targets to sleep instead of actively hurting them.

The Heart-Shift Bracelets also have useful functions, which include a real-time translator, and communicator.

Made in Heart

Each Amarariruku's existence is intrinsically linked to a special Made in Heart (心遺物 (メイド・イン・ハート) Meido in Hāto^?) ring, which allows them to stay alive and also give them unique abilities in a similar manner to heroes' Heart-Shift Bracelets. Tzveta's cold personality was manifested through her ice, Weepy Tearnight's habit of crying was manifested through his water manipulation, and Keheheh Kekerakera's deadly playful personality shows itself in her storage ability.

Supposedly, each member can create an unique space called Amarariruku (心の中 (アマラリルク) Amarariruku^? , lit. "inside one's heart"). This space is the raw expansion of their own heart, in which they have full control and are at their strongest. The Amarariruku have different effects on civilians: Tzveta's Amarariruku initially left residents of the Yuri Orphanage completely unconscious, but she was later able to control them using her ice, even though their bodies couldn't endure the cold for too long and would've been broken if it weren't for Spirit and Shy. Utsuro Karakururi's Amarariruku was able to engulf all of Tokyo's downtown, and impede outsiders from entering it, while also draining their hearts (thus, their life) until they become completely hollow.

While still alive, the rings are not visible in any part of their bodies, but are materialized once they die and disappear.
