Heroes (ヒーロー Hīrō?) are individuals with super abilities who protect the world from any kind of danger and/or harm.
Overview
Powerful individuals mysteriously surged when the world was on the brink of World War III. Due to their old-fashioned outfits and superhuman abilities, as well as their goal to maintain world peace, they started to be called Heroes. After this, each hero returned to their respective country. Their origin is currently unknown, but they were quickly accepted by people.
Each country on Earth has its own hero, and their duties currently include offering assistance with domestic affairs such as ordinary crimes like robberies, or natural disasters. In matters of crisis, governments can, by standard procedure, request the help of other heroes, as well as share information with each other.[1]
Usually, heroes' civilians' identities are completely unknown to the public. There are exceptions, however, as Iko Koishikawa knows Teru Momijiyama is Shy, just like Isaak and Natalia become aware that Pepesha Andreanova is Spirit.[2] Stardust is a special case, supposedly the only where a hero revealed their identity to the entire world to know.
Each hero possesses a pair of Heart-Shift Bracelets that allow them to use their heart as source of power. They are useful gadgets that allow them to communicate with each other in different languages, and also give them access to a set of unique abilities that are in accordance to their personalities. For example, Stardust's ruthless and unfazing personality allows him to control the flow around him, and Shy's determination and unwavering will is manifested through flames. Through them, they can quickly transform into their hero identities, and while they are at their hero selves, their physical capabilities are drastically increased.

Scar Transformation
Scar Transformation is the creation of powers using one's own “scars,” and it’s something only young heroes can use. If a hero uses this transformation for too long, they will become extremely wounded, and in extreme cases, die. According to Pavoreal, this is what killed Shine.[3] Known users of this include Shine, Lady Black, Shy, and Mian Long.
