Keheheh Kekerakera (クフフ＝ケケラケラ Kufufu Kekerakera?) is a member of the Amarariruku.

Appearance

Keheheh is a petite girl with fair skin, big rounded golden eyes and long green hair in pigtails. She has a dark mark on her right cheek that resembles a smiling face. She is usually seen in a buffoon-like attire, which consists of a white shirt, a light green undershirt with very long sleeves underneath a yellowish cloak, black bubble shorts, high stripped pink and white socks, and poulaine shoes.

Keheheh's unique sense of humour.

Keheheh is loud, deadly playful and seems to not take anything seriously. As her behavior is ultimately unpredictable and is difficult to know what she will do next, she is dealt always with extra care by the other heroes. According to herself, her sole objective is to make the world smile and laugh. Keheheh always refers to herself in the third person, which is quite common among children as an habit, adding to her character.

Contrary to the rest of the Amarariruku, Keheheh doesn't actually hate adults.[4] Keheheh truthfully adores Tzveta Kooriskaya and actually got quite lonely after her disappearance, which is why she is initially extremely hostile to Spirit, who she thought had killed her. Even though she is always smiling, it is implied almost none of them are true smiles and she fakes her happiness. This characteristic of hers, however, is what makes her more terrifying to others. Her behavior can get pretty uncanny at times, as if she desperately wishes for every single person to feel what she felt.

She firmly believes there is no need for sad people to exist. According to herself, her mother would constantly scold Keheheh for her supposedly crybaby behavior, which justifies her forced smiles and terrifying wish to make all around her to smile.[5]

Equipment

Made in Heart (心遺物 (メイド・イン・ハート) Meido in Hāto?): Keheheh received a special ring from Stigma, which gives her a set of powerful abilities for her to use.

  • Storage (ものを引 (ひ) き寄 (よ) せる Mono wo hikiyoseru?, lit. "to attract things"): Keheheh is able to store anything she attracts to herself in her sleeves, regardless of its size. She is also able to increase their size.
    • Holy Mother Bear (空飛ぶ巨大熊 (ホーリーマザーベア) Hōrī Mazā Bea?): A gigantic teddy bear used against the Infiltration Team. It received Inori Hallelujah's halos, so it could fly, and Doki Baragaki's weapons, which manifested as claws and teeth made of diamond.[6] It was ultimately destroyed by Keheheh herself, as it was used as a bomb to break through the dome surrouding the tower.[7]
    • Alice in Wonderland (アリス・イン・ワンダランド Arisu in Wandarando?): With this ability, Keheheh can change the size of anything for three minutes.[8]

Trivia

  • In all adaptations, Keheheh's name is meant to be read as a laugh.
  • She likes comedy and magic.
  • So far, Keheheh is the only character whose birthday date is explicitly stated outside of Characters Files.
  • In regards to her character, Rina Hidaka commented:
“ Miss Keheheh is a girl who loves having fun. There are times when it's hard to figure out what she's thinking, and some people might find her creepy, but when I'm acting, I just enjoy it and get into it as if I'm performing a solo musical.
The scenes in which the heroes fight with all sorts of emotions are cool, and it's especially exciting to see the main character, Shy, taking on the enemy with all her heart and soul!
And... I get to act and interact with all the wonderful actors, so dubbing is really fun too!
