Author Notes
There's a psychological term called "shadow."
It seems to refer to a dark place in the mind, an aspect of oneself that is unacceptable.
I think it's similar to "shame" in the sense that it's something that you don't want to accept as part of yourself.
If you can accept your failures, you don't feel ashamed.
If you think about it that way, babies don't have "shadows."
They're completely naked in body and mind, and don't feel embarrassed.
If that's the case, then at what point do we start to have shadows following us around...?

Afterword
This is the 12nd volume.
The number 12 may seem like an odd number, but it's actually a very nice number.
Twelve months, twelve zodiacs. A dozen, a duodenum, twelve-layered kimono...
Whenever I feel disheartened, I always tell myself "this is just the beginning", but with this milestone of 12 volumes, I hope to be able to create a more interesting SHY content.
