I always have a hard time going to the hospital, mostly because the reception there scares me. When I don't feel well and have to go to the hospital, I tend to forget about my appearances and just go in whatever I was wearing in that moment. And, being a shy person, that always manages to drain my confidence gauge.

Synopsis

Still stinging from their Arctic battle, Shy and the other heroes set out in search of new information about the mysterious Amarariruku. Their investigation brings them not only to Spirit's native Russia but to the very orphanage where the carousing crime fighter grew up--and the answers they find there may hit a little closer to home than anticipated...

Characters

Heroes

  • Shy: Japan's hero. Teru Momijiyama after undergoing heart-shift. Iko is the only civilian who knows her true identity.
  • Teru Momijiyama: A kind-hearted girl in her second year of middle school. She's deathly shy and afraid of people.
  • Unilord: She acts as a coordinator for all of Earth's heroes. No one knows what her real face looks like under her mask. Her nickname is "Eunnie."
  • Spirit, real name Pepesha Andranof: Russia's hero. A boozehound who tends to show up when least expected. She often appears in Teru's room.
  • Lady Black, real name Piltz Dunant: The Swiss Hero and also nursing student at Black Cross. She hates stupid people and her ability is healing.
  • Stardust, real name Davie Wonder John: The United Kingdom's hero. In his everyday life, he's a charismatic rock star. His ability is to manipulate the surrouding "flows".
  • Mian Long, real name Ming Ming Li: The Chinese Hero and not very good at fighting. He loves to sleep and his ability involves putting his targets to sleep.
  • N. Villio: Shy's partner and there are some with the same appearance. Its nickname is Ebio.

Civilians

  • Iko Koishikawa: The girl who Shy previously failed to save. After that, she was attacked by a mysterious boy, but she was rescued by Shy. She's in the same class as Teru.

Amarariruku

  • Stigma: The leader of the Amarariruku. He causes ordinary civilians to go on violent rampages by having them wear a ring that is similar to the Heart-Shift Bracelets.
