Author Notes
I like the phrase "seize the day."
The image of reaching your hands out ahead and grabbing hold of today sounds cool, but for some reason it's so difficult.
I'm always digging up the shame of the past and getting discouraged, and I'm always terrified of the shame of the future.
I want to live in the present.
As if I'd die tomorrow.

Afterword

A translated version of SHY will be published in a country across the ocean. I'm happy that my work is being released into the world, but I also feel anxious about whether it will be okay.
I think serializing is like raising a child.
It's both adorable and frustrating when things don't go as planned...but still, it manages to do things I never thought possible. Let my child travel the world.
...Well, I've never raised a child.
